I create original surface patterns for brands, manufacturers, and licensing — work that lives at the intersection of fine art and commercial design.

I've created art for as long as I can remember; I still have sketchbooks from when I was twelve years old. After studying Apparel and Textile Design at MSU, I gained experience across a variety of creative and technical roles as I built my career in product development, spending four years designing private label home products for a national retailer. There, I guided products from concept through production — discovering not just a passion, but a practice.
My approach is shaped by a deep study of avant-garde design — exploring form, concept, and visual language as the starting point for every collection. Rather than chasing trends, I build each pattern from an idea: a narrative, a texture, a point of view. That conceptual foundation is what gives the work its character and keeps it feeling intentional across products and seasons.
Every pattern I make starts with observation: a pressed leaf, repetition in tilework, a shadow on linen. The work is always rooted in something real.
Every collection starts with looking — at nature, at texture, at the overlooked details of the physical world. Drawing before designing.
Beautiful patterns that can't be manufactured aren't finished. I design with repeat, colorway, and production constraints in mind from the start.
I prefer ongoing relationships over one-off projects. The best work happens when there's trust, context, and time to go deep.
